We are currently seeking a highly-motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic and energetic team as a Manufacturing Production Supervisor in the rapidly growing North America operation in Taylor, Michigan. This position reports to the Plant Manager and requires initiative, excellent communication skills, and teamwork.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Oversee production process and drawing up production schedule
Ensure production is cost-effective and the products are produced on time and are of excellent quality
Ensure required production updates are communicated to the shop floor, adjust work in a timely manner
Review planned orders for component availability and releases for manufacture
Act as a liaison between team members and the rest of the organization
Ensure standard work instructions are maintained
Responsible for various ERP transactions to record part usage, bill of materials changes, etc.
Understand and maintain manufacturing and spare parts process flow
Identify areas for improvement and design procedural or physical solutions
Ability to work in manufacturing and office setting
Perform a variety of tasks
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of production floor or equivalent experience in a small manufacturing environment
Associates' degree required Bachelor's Degree preferred
Practical experience with electrical and mechanical equipment
Self-motivated and confident with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
SALARY RANGE $47,000 - $57,000 Based on years of experience plus benefits.
