Responsibilities:
- Examine animals and diagnose their health issues - Perform medical procedures, such as vaccinations, surgeries, and dental work - Prescribe medications and administer treatments - Provide emergency care to injured or sick animals - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures - Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - Valid state veterinary license - Strong knowledge and experience in animal handling, pet grooming, and veterinary critical care - Proficiency in dog handling, equine care, and animal husbandry - Ability to perform animal restraint techniques safely and effectively - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and staff members - Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Note:
