The Recruiter is the main contact between assigned customers and candidates.
Typical daily duties include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, reference checks, employee counseling, reviews, and follow-up with the customers and candidates.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for helping others and enjoy working in a team environment! Excellent communication skills are a must as this position will be working with client customers and applicants on a daily basis.
Multi-tasking, ability to self-manage, and intermediate computer skills are also a necessity.

Responsibilities of the Recruiter I:
Consults with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
Presents candidates to hiring managers, coordinates interviews, negotiates offer packages, processes offer and initiates onboarding.
Writes job descriptions or reviews and edits existing job descriptions.
Provide exceptional customer service to client customers, current associates, and applicants at all times.
Ensure accurate employee files are kept according to federal requirements.
Maintains candidate attendance records, bonus program participation, salary adjustment, time sheet collection and various other administrative tasks.
Conduct background checks on new hires as needed.
Conduct New Hire Orientations to ensure that candidates are properly prepped and briefed for their first day of work.
Maintain constant communication with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled timely.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Travel to customers upon request (must possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
)Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
Writes and places job advertisements in various media, both grassroots and digital.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, conducting site visits as needed.
Preferred Qualifications of the Recruiter I:
High School Diploma and equivalent work experience.
Atleast 1 year(s) of staffing or similar high-touch field required.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Demonstrate a sales aptitude.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, social media sites, and Microsoft Word.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and/or stand and walk frequently.
Flexibility in physical work site to potentially work at customer location periodicallyAbout SURESTAFF:
