Position Description:
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Water Resources Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office.
The candidate must be a licensed PE with a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and ten to fifteen years of related experience.
The candidate should have experience working with large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies.
The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:
Provide technical planning, biological process and mechanical design and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects.
projects that may include combined sewer overflow, collection system, pump station, stormwater, hydrologic and hydraulic models and/or other water and wastewater projectsPrepare engineering calculations, run process models (i.
e.
Excel spreadsheet, Biowin, GPS-X, etc.
) and support analysis of alternatives.
Utilize effective technical writing skills to prepare technical memoranda to document alternative analyses, basis of design, business case evaluations, P&ID reports etc.
Prepare design reports and construction plans for treatment plants and pump stations using local and state standardsPrepare/assist with specifications and permit submittalsAssist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasksMonitor task budget and progressDocument design changes and communicationsConduct on-site inspections and technical guidance for start-up as neededPrepare project status and other reportsAssist in the preparation of proposalsAttend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skillsMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentParticipate in the Florida Water Environment Association, or similar organization as a committee member.
Publish and present papers at state and national conferences.
Serve as an active member in the Wade Trim Water and Wastewater Treatment PracticeEducation:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
