MI Custom Signs a B2B signage and display company is looking for an ambitious, creative, self starting individual wanting to work as a sign and custom display fabricator and installer.
Prior sign industry experience preferred.
The position will start as a team member but will morph into a leadership role as skills and business understanding grows.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Using tools and fabricating metal and plastic signs from scratch or kits.
Follow work order details and ask questions before heading to an installation job.
Load and transport signage to destination and install with precision and care Prepare worksite by removing unwanted signage, preparing mounting surfaces, and ensuring all electrical sources are in order (if applicable) Follows all safety policies and procedures in the preparation and installation phases Install signage in strict compliance with the work order Clean installation site Perform a quality control review and reports findings to company teammates (Take occasional pictures of great work for social media marketing) Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics code Record problems or inconsistencies on installation ticket QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required Three years of sign installation or other relevant experience preferred Basic electrical/wiring knowledge Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet Can pass a DOT Medical and maintain a med card.
Current and unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record Job Type:
